A little about myself:
My name is Kimberlee and I reside and run my business in Beaverton Oregon. I just celebrated my second
full year of making custom 1:6 scale furniture. Let me tell you a bit about me and how I got started......
I grew up (in the 80's) loving Barbie dolls and had a huge collection as a child. I would play for hours on
end with my dolls and horses and loved my A-frame Barbie house. I remember one of my favorite things to
do was to arrange the furniture all over my room, for example, the underneath side of a chair made a perfect
sized Barbie kitchen!
From this, I have always craved realistic looking furniture and dioramas for my dolls. Most furniture items
found in stores are out of scale or too ummm, well, pink. So being crafty, I decided to try my hand at
making my own display pieces. That was five years ago when I took two weeks designing a couch and coffee
table and turning it into a realistic little piece of art! I have since done several couches for myself and young
family members. I completely enjoy creating furniture and thought I might share my creations with you!
Aside from making doll furniture, I am a Mom of two beautiful little girls! I enjoy spending time with my
children, taking walks in our local forest parks, and riding horses. I am also quite a Disneyland fanatic!
